MCCORKLE, Margrett Ann (Richardson) Of Spokane Valley passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 --at the age of 71 surrounded by her beloved family. Margrett was born on June 20, 1942 in Plainview, Arkansas to Fred and Addie Richardson. As an infant, the family moved to Cardin, Oklahoma where she spent much of her childhood in the care of her uncle and aunt, Andy and Nig Miller. Fred's job as a miner led to the relocation of the family to Metaline Falls in 1956. In 1959, Margrett started her family and moved to Spokane. In 1970, she met Mike McCorkle who would become her devoted husband on December 31, 1979. While balancing the demands of raising five children, Margrett earned her degree in visual media technology in 1980 from Spokane Falls Community College. In her spare time, she was a gifted artist, avid reader, and greatly enjoyed researching her family's genealogy. She also loved caring for her dogs, Baby and Maggie. Her greatest joy, however, was found in being a mother and grandmother. While raising five children (Tracy, Bret, Barbara, Julie, and Jason) and a granddaughter (Erika), she also served as a caretaker and mentor to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other children in the neighborhood. While she is gone now, her memory will live on in the many lives she has touched. Margrett is survived by her husband Michael McCorkle. Siblings Betty (Art) Krueger, Sharron (Jerry) Johnson, and Rick (Debbie) Richardson. Children Tracy (Sandy) Holder, Bret McCorkle, Barbara (Dennis) Williams, and Jason (Sarah) Holder. Nine grandchildren Tiffany, Tracy Jr, Brandi, Traci, Fallon, Jessica, Erika, Megan, and Chance. Fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Bill Richardson, sister Patsy Tracy, and daughter Julie Resler. A celebration of Margrett's life will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 12805 E. 29th Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA.

[br][br]Cheri received her wings on 5/13/2014. After a very short battle with Leukemia, she passed peacefully surrounded by her family. Cheri was preceded in death by her parents Verna & Donald Bergheim, her brother Richard Bergheim, and her husband Earl Jensen Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Brandy (Greg) Au; son, Trevor (Heather) Jensen; 4 grandsons, Devon, Steven, Spencer and Jentz; brother, Randy Bergheim; sister, Debrah Wallace; and many other family and friends of whom she loved dearly. [br][br]Age 92 went home to heaven on May 13, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband Glenn Frederick (Steve) Stephens she leaves behind her son Robert, his wife Susan and three cherished grandchildren Amanda, Jessica and Katharine. Chris was an RN in the Army Air Corps during and after WWII, as well as working at Sacred Heart in Spokane. She was an excellent bridge player, loved to golf, enjoyed entertaining and going to church. She was loved by all her family and will be missed. A service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224 at 1:00 pm Tuesday May 20, 2014.

[br][br]Our beloved Stephanie died peacefully surrounded by family on May 13th from a variety of health complications. She is survived by her husband (and high school sweetheart) of 52 years, Paul; their daughters Lori Dietz and partner Jeff Walker, Joelle Schneider and husband Mark, her granddaughters Mallory, Avery and Annalise, sister SueRea Wilson and husband Rob and her two nephews Jeff and Josh. Stephanie retired from NEW ESD 101 after 33 years. In her free time she loved being at the ocean, camping, fishing, gardening and spending time with family and friends. She's now on her final adventure in search of sunshine, white sand and the perfect wave. Our family will gather at a future date to celebrate her life and the special bond she shared with so many.

Wilma May Martin passed away on March 24, 2014 in Spokane WA. Wilma was born in Clatskanie, OR on 10-30-28 to Robert & Vida Maughan. She married George H Martin Sr on 3-7-1947 with whom she had five children. Wilma was a loving, caring mother and homemaker. She was an amazing cook and her kitchen was always open. Her home was the gathering place for family celebrations and holidays. She travelled throughout the U.S. as well as to Europe and Mexico. One of her most fond memories was when she took a cruise with her daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter. Wilma and her husband enjoyed many years square dancing throughout the U.S. She is preceded in life by her daughters Evelyn Clark and Priscilla Maughan. She is survived by her loving husband George, son George Jr (Linda) Martin Pullman, WA daughter Yvonne (Gene) Teigen, son James Sr (Kris) Martin Spokane, WA step son Larry (Janet) Martin Sequim, WA step daughter Mary Ann Johnson Salt Lake City, UT. and her sister Mona Glass San Bruno, CA. She has 22 grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life. She is dearly loved and missed by all of us.

MONSON, KEVA A
[br][br]Keva Arlene (Pringle) Monson, 73, died May 21, 2014, at Kootenai Health Center in Coeur d'Alene of complications from a stroke.
The daughter of Ron and Pearl (Lanter) Davis, Keva was born July 30, 1940, in Coeur d'Alene and grew up in Post Falls. She graduated from Post Falls High School in 1958, the same year she was named Miss Post Falls. She attended University of Idaho, where she pledged Pi Beta Phi. On August 15, 1959, she married Charles R. Monson.
They made their home in Baltimore, Md., and Baker, Ore., before returning to the Spokane area and settling at Liberty Lake to raise their four children. Keva worked as public relations director for the Spokane Valley School District and co-owned the Trend House interior design store in the Spokane Valley. In 1985, she and Chuck moved to Ghana, West Africa, where she worked as manager of the American Club, and he continued his work for Kaiser Aluminum. From there, she moved to Japan for two years to obtain her black belt in aikido, returning to Liberty Lake in 1992. Her husband, Chuck, died in 1994.
In 1998, she married longtime friend Donald Reese, and they split their time between Liberty Lake and Pacific City, Ore. She treasured her role as beloved grandmother to the nine Reese grandchildren. Keva volunteered her time and considerable talents to a number of political and environmental causes. She was legendary for her unique flair and impeccable taste.
She was also predeceased by her parents, her brother Dennis Pringle, and her sons-in-law, Jock H. Bevis and William D. Rice.
She is survived by her husband, Don Reese, of Liberty Lake, and her children: Steve Monson and his wife, Angela, of Sohar, Oman; Megan Monson of Myrtle Creek, Ore.; Marlo Monson Bevis of Kodiak, Alaska; and Mike Monson and his wife, Rebekka, of Park City, Utah. She also left six grandchildren: Marcus Stennes, Cassidy Rice, Ashleigh Monson, Riley Rice, Sawyer Bevis and Connor Monson. She is also survived by her brothers, Don Pringle and his wife, Lukana, of Kona, Hawaii; Ron Davis and his wife, Nancy, and John Davis and his wife, Marsha, all of Post Falls.
A memorial service will be held in August at the family home at Liberty Lake. Friends are invited to add their remembrances to the online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.

[br][br]Mary "Moe" Allgaier of Spokane passed away at her residence on May 19, 2014 at the age of 62. She was born in Spokane, Washington on Oct. 10, 1951. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Florence Davis, her sister Therese and her husband Joe Allgaier. She is survived by six brothers, one sister and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services and a mass celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Spokane at 9:00 AM. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace at 11:00 AM.
Fairmont Memorial Association is assisting the family with arrangements.
