
[br][br]Eva Elizabet Ingebord Unser (Roos) was born on October 15,1928 in Gisselas, Sweden. Eva came on a ship when she was 3 years old with her sister Christine 9 and brother Fritz 14 to New York City, then continued by train to Montreal. She proceeded to Nelson BC to be with the rest of the family. Eva was preceded in death by her father Johan, mother Ellen, brothers Moritz, Fritz, Johnny, and sister Lucille. She is survived by her brother Eric, and sisters Christine and Darlene.
She married John Joseph Unser in 1952 and was divorced in 1964. She worked and retired from Kaiser Aluminum Trentwood in Spokane, Wa. She left behind one son David John Unser (wife Karen) Spokane, grandchildren John Joseph Unser II (wife Jennifer) Temecula, Ca., Joshua David Unser (wife Nicole) Nashville, TN., Amanda Lynn Unser Anchorage, AK., and 2 great grandchildren Emma and Anna Unser Temecula, Ca. She enjoyed spending time with David, Michael and Payton Robison of Spokane, Wa as well as her many nieces and nephews.
In her spare time Eva enjoyed gardening, bingo, scrabble and spending many fun hours at the casino with her sisters. She also enjoyed having a knitting needle in her hands making whatever she wanted to. She had a special love for her many cats and had a very large spot in her heart for her cat Jax. She was a very sweet and kind lady, and in the last 10 years you would find her working on any puzzle that you put in front of her.
