
[br][br]Wayne Luiten was born in Spokane on July 10, 1966. He was the only child born to Bud and Georgia Luiten. Wayne graduated from Rosalia High School and went to work at Central Pre-Mix. Wayne was in a one car roll-over accident in 1992 which left him known to all as "Wheelchair Wayne". This turn of events did not crush Wayne's desires or attitude for life. His days were filled with his many passions including working on cars, NASCAR, shooting pool, hunting, camping and fishing.
Wayne was always positive and caring toward others and had a large circle of friends. Wayne is survived by his father "Bud the Barber" in Spokane, half-brother Mike Steptoe (Medical Lake), half-sister Jana Steptoe (Spokane) and Zeus his four footed companion along with many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Wayne passed peacefully on January 18th after an extended illness. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 7th at Holy Cross Lutheran Church located at 7307 N Nevada in Spokane with a reception following at the church.
