[br][br]Victoria "Vickey" Tollefson, 64, went to be with Jesus on Nov. 09, 2014 at the Hospice House with her husband of 48 years by her side. Her devotion to her family and her faith in God supported her through her journey and ultimately gave her peace. Vickey was born to the late Betty Connolly and Paul Seiler in Richmond, CA on June 10, 1950. Her only brother, Nick Seiler, still resides in Grass Valley with his wife Wendy. Vickey met John at the young age of 16 and they were married on Dec. 2, 1966. They moved to Spokane in 1980. In addition to raising three children, she spent most of her working life behind a cash register. The people that came through her check out line were not just customers, but her friends. Her coworkers were like family to her and some even called her "Momma Vickey." She retired from Rosauers after 19 years of dedicated service. She took great pride in her job and mentored many new employees. She sincerely cared for those around her and would go out of her way to make them feel special. Vickey lived a life of compassion, selflessness and kindness. She loved crafting things for people, making cards, and scrapbooking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren Heather, Sabrina, Brady, Sydney, Emily, Spencer and her great grandson Nolan. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband John, daughter Renee (Phil), son Jay (Jennifer), and son Frank (Angie). A memorial service will be held at 11am on Thurs. Nov. 20th at Turning Point Open Bible Church, 11911 N. Division St. Spokane. The family is appreciative of the wonderful staff of Hospice House for their care and compassion in making her comfortable in her final days.
