[br][br]Barbara passed away peacefully on August 24, 2014 at the age of 83 at the Hospice House South in Spokane, WA. Born in Cheney, WA on August 28th, 1930 to William H and Selma I Lyons she was one of 15 children; 10 brothers and 4 sisters. Mom grew up in Cheney and Spokane area where she met and married Chester (Chet) K Weedmark Sr. in 1951. They were married for over 50 years until 2003 when he passed. Together they had four boys. Mom was a seamstress for many years and loved to sew, knit and crochet; she was more than willing to teach anyone who wanted to learn. Her other passions were dancing and family gatherings. She is survived by her sons, Chester Ken Jr. (Lynn) of Spokane, Terry Lee of Alaska, James Craig of Tri-Cities and Robert Michael of Moses Lake; a daughter Deborah Rich of Meridian, Idaho; one sister, Jan (Lyons) Griswold, three brothers, James E (Suzi) Lyons of Redmond, Jack (Lexey) Lyons of Spokane Paul M Lyons of New Orleans, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Good Samaritan Village 17121 E. 8th Ave, Spokane Valley, WA on September 11th at 2:30 with inurnment following at Spokane-Cheney Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations could be made to Hospice House of Spokane or Lilac Services for the Blind.
