[br][br]Blair was born in Edmonds, Washington and died at Overlake Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Mercer Island, except for 3 years spent in Vienna Austria, where his mother was employed. Blair attended middle school at the Vienna American International School, and traveled extensively in Europe with his parents and his constant companion, a chocolate-lab named Maggie. He said those years in Vienna were some of the best years of his life because he found it easy to make friends from all over the world and learn so much about different cultures and religions. He was a champion sprinter in his younger years, both on Mercer Island and in Austria. He took great pride in his ability to complete 53 days of survival training in the Idaho desert when he was only 15. He loved to hike in the North Cascades with his dog Maggie. He was a dirt bike rider, snow-mobiler and skier. His giant smile and great sense of humor illuminated every gathering. He loved animals so much that he could not pass-up the opportunity to stop and hug every dog that he met. He was exceedingly generous to his friends and family. He attended Mercer Island High School and graduated from ETC Preparatory Academy. He had recently changed the direction of his life and was excelling at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. He was excited about what he was learning and looking forward to graduating from LWIT, where he was studying to be a Harley Davidson mechanic. Blair will be missed by his parents Gina Haggerty and Bruce Bonine of Mercer Island, his half-brother Keir Bonine(wife Christel) and nephew Noah & nieces Emilia & Chiara of Brussels, Belgium; Uncle Timothy and Aunt Shelly Haggerty and cousin Justin of Richmond, Virginia; Uncle Mick and Aunt Jacque Haggerty and cousins Colin and Sophia of Portland, OR; Aunt Julia Haggerty and cousins Meghan and Sarah of Seattle, WA; Uncle John Bonine of Eugene, Oregon; his girlfriend Taylor and numerous second cousins and many friends throughout Washington and Europe. Blair was preceded in death by his beloved Uncle Bob Haggerty.
