[br][br]DeWayne Albert Stratton beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, & Great Grandfather was called to Heaven on January 30th, 2016. He was born April 18, 1940 in Bemidji, Minnesota. Preceded in death by mother Ruth, brother Ron, son Mike Stratton & son-in-law Joe Stenson.
DeWayne joined the Navy in 1958 and earned his Electricians Degree. Upon leaving the Navy he continued his education in Spokane to become a machinist. For 30 years he was dedicated to his Engineering career at Travis Pattern & Foundry Inc.
On March 3, 1962 he married Gloria, the love of his life. His greatest accomplishment was providing for his family and raising his 5 children:Troy (Kelly) Stratton, Sharlene (Rick Beach) Stenson, Mike Stratton, Tonya (Mike) Ota, Delroy (Richelle) Stratton;10 grandchildren: Tyler (Gerise), Cody (Mishay), Shyane (Brandon), Amber, Colton, Dillon, Zack, Haylee, Jesse, Hayden,1 great grandson Jax. Also survived by Father and Mother-in-law Delbert and Roberta Tryon.
DeWayne was passionate about flying his airplane, hunting, fly fishing, and spending time as a family at "The River". He loved to explore the outdoors with his children, grandchildren and his faithful dog Stormy. His children and grandchildren will always cherish the life lessons he instilled in them.
