
Harold C. Mann, age 91, passed away peacefully at his home in Freeland, WA on October 8, 2015. He was born June 1, 1924 in Reardan, WA and was a 1943 graduate of Reardan High School.
Harold was one of nine children of Henry and Anna Mann of Reardan, WA and is survived by two sisters, Helen Halvorson of Seattle and Irene Bennett of Ritzville, WA. He was a brother of Joe Mann, who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor during World War II.
He married Mary (Bradley) of Omak, WA on April 23, 1949 and lived in the Spokane Valley until moving to Edmonds, WA in 1975. He sold and serviced banking equipment for Diebold for many years. Harold and Mary were members of Millwood Presbyterian Church when they lived in Spokane, and most recently were members of Lynnwood (WA) Free Methodist Church.
He is survived by Mary, his wife of 66 years; sons Larry (Carole) of Spokane Valley, Edward (Michael) and Ronald, all of Freeland; granddaughters Sydney Mann of Freeland, Rachael (Matt) Levay and great-granddaughter Wilhelmina Levay, all of Pocatello, ID; step grandchildren Dan Veal of Las Vegas, NV and Chris (Christy) Veal; and step great-grandchildren Lily and Victor Veal, all of Vashon WA.
A memorial service will be held at the Lynnwood Free Methodist Church, 6519 188th St SW, Lynnwood, WA, on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 2:00 PM.
