[br][br]Dave passed away August 16, 2015 in Modesto, California. He was born January 1, 1945 in Spokane, Washington to Peter and Florence (Nordlund) Jersild. Ten minutes after he was born, he was followed by his twin brother, Don. They have the distinction of being the first babies born in Spokane in 1945. He is survived by his wife Linda (Goodell) Jersild, his daughters Shannon (Richard) Applegate, Shelley (Andy) Roden, and Denise (Richard) Hull, and his grandsons Christian Applegate and Logan Hull. He is also survived by his siblings Don (Cindy) Jersild, Ruth Douglas, and Elice (Doug) McDonald, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Helen, and four grandbabies born directly into heaven. A Celebration of Dave's Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00 am at Crossroads Grace Community Church in Manteca. The address is 1505 Moffat Blvd in Manteca, CA. The burial will take place on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 10:00 am at Lakewood Memorial Park located at 900 Santa Fe Ave in Hughson, CA.
