(58) Dennis "Denny" Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on Feb 21, 1957 in Inglewood, CA to Ivan "Neil" & Ruby Sterley. In 1975 he enlisted into the US Air Force. After serving his country for 17 years, he found his second career as a Head Bowling Mechanic. In late 2000 he moved to Spokane to be closer to his family. He worked at a few bowling alleys throughout Spokane. He loved bowling, golfing, playing pool, camping and going to concerts. He is survived by his daughters Michelle Piper (Branden) & Angie Houston (Tyler); his sisters Donna Allen, Judy Johnston & Sherry Hodgin; his grandkids Aiden, Ausden & Abi Piper and Bently & Delaney Houston; his longtime girlfriend Peggy Hagensen, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael, his father Neil and just recently his mother Ruby. There will be a graveside service at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 9:45, with a memorial service and potluck reception following at 12pm at The Eagles Lodge, 6410 N Lidgerwood St. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made at gofundme.com to help with end of life and funeral expenses.
